All good things come in threes, and I was happy to be asked once again to create opening titles for Playgrounds, this time for their brand new In Motion festival held in London and Rotterdam. After creating the overall look and feel for the new festival together with the fine folks at BUCK (more on this later!), I wanted to take the wavelength concept that’s at the core of the identity, and take it into as many directions as possible. Waterslides! Apples! Balloon animals! The resulting titles are a patchwork of different styles and ideas, but isn’t that a fitting way to enter the world of In Motion?
A much delayed follow-up video to 'A GoPro adventure in Tignes'. All shot on GoPro Hero 6 and GoPro Fusion. This was entirely a fun personal project I've wanted to do for a while and is in no way sponsored or paid for, etc.
Many thanks to Atrey for letting us use his track 'Galaxy Express' too - Go check out his stuff on Spotify!
Iceland is one of my favorite countries to travel to & I absolutely love capturing my experiences there. It was even better getting to show my Wife’s family this place we’ve grown to love so much over the past 5 years. “Gusts From The Highlands” is my 3rd travel piece I’ve had the pleasure of creating there. Bringing along the Leica Q2 was a great addition in the toolkit for shooting the photos you see in this piece. It was fun experimenting with the Sirui anamorphic’s as well. Thanks to my love Christie LaPlant for all the killer drone shots!
El Viento is a non-profit providing opportunities for at-risk-youth in the Oak View community of Huntington Beach, California. If Oak View was a city, it would be the 11th poorest in the United States. Most families don't even think of education past high school. Since its inception, El Viento's afterschool program has given many students the support and structure to achieve unprecedented academic success. This is a story of three of those students.
In many parts of the world, children are leading an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, threatening both their short and long-term health. But the Swedish non-profit organization Generation Pep wants to change that – by creating a unique choreographed dance featuring 10.000 steps, to the iconic track D.A.N.C.E by Justice. Starring the 9-year-old dancing prodigy Lilyana Ilunga.

“Dance 10.000” is a global campaign created to inspire children and young people to move, while at the same time highlighting the problems and consequences of a sedentary lifestyle. With a unique music video featuring a choreographed dance with the 10.000 steps often referred to as the daily recommendation for physical activity.
According to the World Health Organisation, WHO, childhood obesity is one of the most serious global public health challenges of the 21st century, affecting every country in the world. In just 40 years, the number of school-age children and adolescents with obesity has risen more than 10-fold, from 11 million to 124 million (2016 estimates). Besides, an estimated 216 million were classified as overweight but not obese in 2016. The condition also affects younger children, with over 38 million children aged under 5 living with overweight or obesity in 2017.
